Translating emotions into visual language 👉Updates Why do we care? These past two weeks we delve into our purpose, into why we care and why we are creating a social enterprise around emotional intelligence. Our purpose: We believe everyone deserves better mental health through strengthening  their emotional resilience. Make is for people who want to find a medium, in addition to words, to express their feelings. We are building a social enterprise because emotions and reason are intertwined, and both are critical to problem solving (Damasio, 1997). Where we keep our community of MAKErs informed 👉Updates #1 MAKE helps teenagers develop their emotional intelligence by empowering their creativity for improved work, life and social outcomes. What do we mean by emotional intelligence? According to the psychologists Mayer and Salovey emotional intelligence is "the ability to monitor one's own […] emotions, to discriminate between different emotions and label them appropriately, and to use emotional information to guide thinking and behavior" Therefore, at MAKE we are using a 3 step methodology: 1.- Recognise the emotion 2.- Label the emotion 3.- Express the emotion #2 🎉This coming week we will be working on the design of the product, hopefully very soon we can share it with you for beta testing....
